Faced with an invasion force Jehoshaphat casts the need of the people against the largest possible story; the very purposes of God in the world. Seeing their local problem as part of the cosmic drama calls for radical faithfulness to the Lord and casts the victory of the Lord as part his grand plans to make all things new!
