The last month or so has been filled with change on our staff team as we have farewelled Belinda, Matt, and Lucy. While the changes continue, I am pleased to announce that we have two new* staff positions filled! I say new* because while both roles are new the people are not.

First, Marjy Robertson, who has been on staff for a few years now overseeing our Serve Team (Volunteers) a day a week, has agreed to increase her time to 30 hours a week. Her role will be to continue to work with our volunteers but also to provide administrative and operational support for ministry. She’ll start in this new role on Monday July 10 and I’m excited to have her on team five days a week!

Second, Kat Lewis-O’Connor, who has been on maternity leave for the last year has decided not to return to the full-time Youth & Young Adults Coordinator role but has agreed to a six month agreement to oversee young adults and our content creation. We’re excited to have Kat back! She’s starting on Monday.

Third, Georgia Mullins, who has done a great job leading the youth ministry has agreed to extend her contract to the end of this year. This is not a new role, but is still great news!
