I don’t know about you, but it’s been one week back in the office and I am slowly getting back up to speed. The last few weeks have been quiet, restful, and refreshing but the new ministry year is just around the corner and things will soon start to pick up pace.

As a community of faith we will begin the hard work of implementing our strategic directions by assessing where we are and what our priorities are moving forward – and you’ll hear a lot more about that in the months to come.

Our vision, however, is unchanged. We want to see lives changed by Jesus. We want to see our own lives changed by him as well as the lives of those around us.

Our mission also remains the same: to invite everyone to follow Jesus; in everything we do and everywhere we go, believing that we are sent by him to continue his work.

And therefore our purpose is no different; we want to take up the invitation to join in God’s work of renewing all things in Jesus.

As we start a new year and get back into the swing of things let us make this our prayer; that we would be courageous, that we would discern God’s invitation to each of us, and that we would, indeed, see lives changed by Jesus.
