Matthew's genealogy is so much more than a list of names. It is a carefully designed teaching tool that sets us up for the birth, life, death, resurrection, and mission of Jesus that he is about to launch into. The names on this list invite us to find ourselves in Jesus' family and in Jesus' mission.
As we are near the end of the year there is no discipleship menu or Big III podcast this week. They will both kick off again in January.
